This watercolour was inspired by a day at Willow's Beach in Victoria. Elsie, my mother-in-law and I were sitting enjoying the afternoon sun and the beautiful cool breeze that hot summer's day. We spent the afternoon watching the children come and go, frolicking without a care. This particular young girl took my eye, and i snapped a picture of her pouring the water on the beach while the Bonaparte gull looked on.
It was fun to paint. i hope you enjoy it. SOLD
